The camp sits on 62 acres of land with 1600' frontage on
the ITS/ATV trail. This is the old rail bed between Washburn and Stockholm.
The camp is approximately one mile off of the Tangle Ridge Road and can
easily be driven into by car. The drive is a deeded right-of-way. The camp
is 22' x 32' with a 4' concrete patio across the front. It has two bedrooms
with a loft area over the bedrooms. The remainder is one room which is
shared by the living and dining area and the kitchen area.
The entire interior of the camp is tongue and groove pine. The kitchen
counter is all ceramic tile. The range and refrigerator are both gas and
work great.
The exterior of the camp has cedar board and batton siding, and a beautiful
red metal roof. The wood stove easily heats the camp in the winter. The camp
has an exposed brick chimney which adds a lot to the interior look of the
camp.
There is no electricity or plumbing. It is wired with light fixtures and
switches and can easily be run with a generator. The sink is for draining
only into a professionally designed gray water system. The outhouse was also
built per an engineered design. Windows are all wooden Andersons with
screens.
The property has a manmade pond that is spring fed, but has not settled as
of yet, but seems to be clearing as the vegetation continues to grow around
it. The property has a lot of possibilities for cabins for recreational
activities. We have regular visits from bear, moose and deer.
