A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY!
The camp is located on the northeastern shore of Scraggly Lake, Washington
County, Maine. There is only one other camp on this lake that is not on Native
American land, and property is no longer for sale due to its semi-wilderness
classification.
This camp, however, is on a one-acre deeded lakefront lot with a right-of-way to
an unimproved road 1/2 mile to the North.
At the present time, the camp is best accessed by boat.
The main building is approximately 875 sq ft., and has a small poured concrete
root cellar. There is also a separate woodshed.
Scraggly Lake lies within a chain of lakes noted for hunting and fishing and for
unspoiled natural beauty. It is an excellent landlocked salmon lake, and was
written up in Field & Stream Magazine as one of the nation's best smallmouth
bass waters.
