How much does this actually cost and why the change?		Your advertising will cost you $60 for 12 months of advertising, just as it has always been. We have you pay $79 up front. Why? So that when it sells you will contact us to get your $19 back and we can take the property down. If 12 months expires and it hasn't sold you get $19 back. If you decide to stop advertising, for any reason, you get the $19 back. Otherwise happy sellers go away and forget to tell us that the property has sold and we end up with 'dead' properties.

How many photos may I have?		Free photo limit is three. Additional photos are $5 per photo. They will be put on a separate page or in a thumbnail so that download time of your page won't be excessive.

Can I send photos that I have printed on my printer?		Do not do that! They will look awful after I rescan them.

Should I use the property form provided by *For Sale by YOU!*		Yes, it helps reduce errors and omissions. Get the form. (this one is for printing and mailing via U.S. Postal service. Below are the instructions and links for Online submission.

Can I do all of this Online?		Yes. You can go to our online form an fill in your information. Just email your photos and we accept payment via PayPal. (keep reading for more information on PayPal and emailing photos)

How do I pay?		We use PayPal or you can send check or money order. For online payments go to our payment page and follow the link to PayPal.

What's PayPal?		PayPal allows you to use your credit card to make and accept payments, all online. It does require you to sign up, but it offers several benefits such as being able to accept payments yourself and to pay at hundreds of sites on the Internet such as eBay. Can you give me some tips on photos?		The internet seems to favor lighter photos. It can be hard to make a photo better. Land can benefit from a panoramic shots.

Can I use my property page in other ads?		Yes. If you put an ad in a paper or magazine instead of paying for a color photo include your address to your page. Look at your address. It will be like this: www.forsalebyyou.com/yourpage.html Substitute the yourpage part of the address with your specific page. (i.e. jones.html)

Can I email the address to others so they can just click on it?		Yes. Type your address like this http://www.forsalebyyou.com/yourpage.html When someone gets your email they can then just click on the address and go there.

Is there anything I can do to make this easier for you?		Yes. Think of what you would like to say about your property on the corresponding main page. (Homes, land, camps or Business) This way I won't have to. (Example: Lovely home - 3 stories, 6 bedrooms, 1 block from waterfront. With Professional office / In-Law apt. Eastport, Me.)

What can I do to reduce errors?		Typed pages really help and use spell checker.

Can I use a digital camera to send you photos? (or photos taken on a film camera that the developer puts on disk?)		Yes. The photos must be in jpeg or tiff form. If you email me tiffs please email them each in a separate email and if you can zip them that is better so the download size is not excessive. Email me if you have questions.

Will you mail my photos back to me?		Yes. Please include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.

What if I want to change the price later?		Just email me.

What if I want to change something else?		See above answer.

Results.		I am looking at providing a feedback method and a forum for people to post what they are looking for in the way of homes and land. Sometimes those who advertise email me with the responses and success they have had. Otherwise I can't know what sort of actual response people are getting.
